u use ghost for windows probably. are u trying to make an image of a local or a drive in lan?
to use ghost in lan u must run it in ona machine as a host and in another as a server.
now if u are not in a lan u probably go with wrong task.
my opinion? get a bootable disk (w98 cd is fine) put the dos version of ghost in a floppy (or inside a copy of w98 cd if u know how to do), boot with the cd in dos mode adn run ghost.exe from the command line.
for this to work u must have a fat32 partition or disk with enough space to store the image file.

I used ghost twice in the past.

For me was very simple, you just give a couple of clicks (next, next hehe) and it made the images.

Try to find something like "make a backup of my hard drive" or "C:" or similar.

I dont understand why you cant find your computer, if you dont even have to look for it.

Could you be more specific, what do you do exactly? (example: 1.Open Ghost 2.??)
