Default Erase Your Data Trail

use at your own risk in XP...

Quote:
1. Start the Registry Editor by clicking Start, Run, and type "regedit" (without quotes).

2. Go to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management

3. On the right, locate the ClearPageFileAtShutdown value. Right-click the value, select modify, and change the data value of the registry key to 1.

If the ClearPageFileAtShutdown value doesn't exist, add it. Right-click the right side of your specified key and add it as a DWORD value. Then change the data value to 1.

4. Restart for your changes to take effect.

Note: Your shutdown time may slightly increase.

My company uses Dat files to track our internet history. I use Index.Dat Suite to erase my trail. Works great! and it's Freeware.

Dont be so sure! In most companies, you go to internet via a proxy. In all cases, if a company wants to track the browsing patterns of the employees, it will be via the proxy server and not via the browsing history in your individual PCs.

They will have a very good idea about the ip address, login and the sites u will be going to!

I use JV16 power tools.

Lightweight and easy to use. A great tool for anyone.

It used to be free. However, IMO it's worth every penny.
