Default PWS info needed

At long last, I have my PWS installed on windows 98SE. I have .asp programs written & in My Documents. I need to know how to access and use these files. I keep reading about virtual directories and paths and can't get a grasp on this thing. I tried to "send" them to "personal web server", etc...
I'm lost. Anyone care to offer advice? barreledaction@bellsouth.net

where am I stuck? well, the PWS is at c:\inetpub\wwwroot\ , my .asp files are at c:\mydocuments\filename.asp . I assume all the files I use must be in the c:\inetpub\wwwroot directory . Do I "send to" PERSONAL WEB SERVER or
do I "send to" WEB PUBLISHING WIZARD and then what?

maybe you can take a look at this site.

http://www.webwizguide.com/asp/tutor..._pws_win98.asp

By the way, you will need to place a copy of your asp documents into C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ destination.

For example, you place a index.html into that path.

Open IE and type Http://127.0.0.1.

It will show you your index page.

Please look at my post. I have PWS installed. I've created a home page using the PWS editor. I can't place my .asp documents into C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ destination because I don't know how. I wouldn't ask for help before researching for answers, which I've done for days. Everybody's giving me the same answer but not answering my question. I appreciate the response but I don't know the procedure to place documents in the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ destination. I have a PWS index page, I have .asp documents coded and in C:\MyDocuments. How do I get from MyDocuments to wwwroot ?

Okay. I know your frustration.

It may sound crazy but this what i do and it works.

Copy the .asp documents from the C:\My Documents then go to C:\>Inetpub>wwwroot>[yourfilenamefolderifyouhave]>Paste the documents.
