works good but be careful in regedit if you dont know what your doing...

In media player, go to tools>options>Privacy tab, go to clear history
Isn't it doing pretty much the same thing?

windows media player 11
its very cool, nice interface (Vista option), can view album cover in library,
convert to MP3 easily,...

alternatively you can just get ccleaner from ccleaner.com; under the applications tab you can select the option to clear most recently accessed files in many common programs..
