I'm not too excited either. Maybe I'm just saying that because I don't have money for the OS. :-)

If I upgrade to Vista, I think I need to upgrade my whole computer too. XP is already heavy for me. What more if I upgrade?

Just installed Vista Ultimate for about a week.

Awesome graphics, some nice touches.

Annoying feature is personal data when installing XP software. Splits between Program files & personal folder (more secure). But it confuses most XP software. Need to look it up - classic setup??

Oops - I ran Vista Ultimate with minimum RAM 512K - seems to hold up very well. But 64MB VRAM cuts it close for games.

I dont think I like how it uses so much memory . I have 128 MB RAM, but even if I had 3 GB I wouldn't switch. XP is compatible with all I need, and why take the chance of messing up my stuff when im fine. I'm thinking "If it aint broke, don't fix it" in the case of Vista. I feel the same way about the Zune, people can go for that but why differ from the Zen Vision: M or Ipod when they both are awesome.

No Zune with Vista for me. But, WMP 11 works great with my iriver clix. See cnet review on Clix.

A good article/review on Windows Vista was written by Walter Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal. Here's the link:

Ho$ter, that is an amazing review :O.

It is also the most positive one that I have seen in a while . I really do not support Vista at all, and would rather go to Linux than sell my soul to Vista.

I am getting used to Vista. Runs smoothly now. I won't sell my soul for any OS. But I'll test them for free.

I threw Vista on my desktop for about a week but switched back to XP MCE. It's not bad in my opinion but I'd rather wait for the bugs to be gone.
