Making your folder invisible;

1. Right click on the desktop>New>Folder

2.Remove the name and with the NUMPAD type 0160 while holding ALT

-Now your folder should appear unnamed and when we got that solved, we have to make the icon itself invisible to the eye:

3.Right click on the folder>Properties

4.Click the Customize tab and then Change icon

5.Just scroll a little bit and you can find here is a transparent icon

And voila; your folder is now invisible…(*just don’t forget where you put it)

Nice old little trick Downside is that in detailed mode you can still see a folder (Type category). And if you select all (ctrl+a) you can see its space coloring blue.

Many people have "Hide system folders" on by default, or cause they don't want to mess with it. So in cmdprompt do this:
attrib +s <folder/file name>
can add a +h too to make it hidden, but that option is off alot
