Hello all you windows server guru's... We have a website were we sell items that can not be sold or viewed by some countries... So... We want to be able to block them... I have tried the .htaccess with no success...

Let say we want to block all traffic from domains ending in .cn

How can we accomplish this... Or, can we?

You can try to block the IP address block of the country. Usually, each country has their own blocks of ip addresses to use. In your page, You can setup to detect and block a sudden IP blocks with php pages.

Are you running Apache?

You can pretty easily use php and preg_match to set up a filter on your index page to block just about any TLD or IP address but if you are running Apache, .htaccess ought to work.

I use php to detect and block spammers on my site and it is 100% effective. FYI.
