Hi guys, I'm a total newbie and in the past I've been looking at sites and I wondered how them worked... I'm very young... Then I started wondering how to make a site, I red about much things and then started making things but never really went too far because I didn't know what to do next... But then I decided that I should make my own site because I would know exactly how I wanted it, so I really made it
and you can see it, the links are on my signature. It's in portuguese, but anyways you can check it out...
In the very first page, there are things that I am, then there's a page with things that I like, then there's a page with pictures that I've taken, infact there's only 3 pictures that I really like lol... and last but not least, there's some kind of a chatroom....
In the pages with things that I like and things that I am, you'll notice that if you refresh, the order of the things will change and also the size of the text of each thing.... This is done with PHP... In the pictures, i used Thickbox3, and I used a chatroom script that I forgot witch one it is, but it's in Ajax... Both thickbox and the chatroom script, they use jQuery, witch I liked very much.
I tried to make everything the smaller I could, both CSS and xHTML are valid, and I'm using a free host and a free domain name....
So I would like you to check my site and tell me what you think about it ! simple as that... but please don't be too hard on me, it's my first site and I made 17 years some time ago... so I'm young :P
PS: I know, I still need to give credit to everything that I used, and I will do it as soon as I have time because I'm having too much work at school now, but I will do it soon....
