the image at the top takes up too much space wothout telling you what the website is about.

Alos, do you really want people forgetting about your site, putting it to the back of their mind until your reminder?

Private,

Would your really want your potential customers leaving your site without a mechanism to remind them to return??

Cause frankly, that is what is happening on your site today....

Have a look at your stats.. 97%, 98% of those visitors are just leaving??
What if 1% of those visitors used this reminder button???

Would there not be a chance of them coming back and actually buying...??

Hello Remind Me Button,

You sounded desperate for some feedback, so here it goes...

My first impression of your site was that it looks pretty good. Then three seconds later you must have tried to auto pop a window on me using some JavaScript trickery cause my browser blocked it. I went ahead and unblocked popups from your site so I can finish the evaluation, but I probably wouldn't have done that on any other site. So, back to the design, I like the pastel pink with the grey and I thought you had a good color scheme going, but as I started to scroll down a bit I noticed that there was around three shades of pink to red and three shades of blue. I think you would be better off sticking to two or three total colors. I also noticed the marquee scrolling text and it seemed kind of 90's. I even right clicked on it hoping that it would be flash, but no such luck. Then at the very botton, the footer corners look pretty pixilated. I also happen to agree with Private that the header is just too big with all of the text you have. I think if you want to stick with the larger header then you should keep the text to a minimum on the home page. Also after taking another look at your header I would suggest a different picture. I am not sure if that is your "crew" or just stock photography, but the fellow at the top has the top of his head chopped off, and it made me a bit uncomfortable. I kept trying to scroll more up, to see the rest of it.

I did click through the rest of the pages real quick. I was disappointed with the "tour" I was hoping for a video to explain things or something I guess. I still really don't even have a clear picture of what your "Remind Me Button" is. Is it the popup form to fill out? I was afraid to use it cause is seemed like a spam target.

I took a quick look under the hood at your source code. I was expecting a table layout done in MS Publisher. I was close it was ImageReady slices.

I am sorry if some of this is harsh, it is only my opinion, but hopefully you can use the feedback, to improve your site!

Etono,

Not harsh at all,
It is exactly what I am looking for.

This button is helping my customers capture important dates and events in their visitors life. You can imagine how valuable this is in terms of marketing.

What browser were you using??
I was also hoping to get feedback on what you did on the site first??
What captured your eye?? if anything at all??

Cause I have a pretty good bounce rate of 15% from my first page..

Hello Remind Me,

I originally took a look at it using FireFox 1.5, but also looked at it in Internet Explorer 6.0. On Internet Explorer there was a warning icon, that said syntax error line 2 character 1.

I think your home page is a bit daunting with the amount of text you have. You mentioned that this remind me button is a way to remind you sites viewers important dates, but you need to show an example on the home page, without forcing them to enter their email I think. Maybe some nice graphics would work showing the process.
