Re: Any comments welcome
I agree about the pink. A little pink used strategically goes a long way, or perhaps add some other color(s) to offset the pink. You did use it pretty sparingly, which is a good thing (a small splash of color on an otherwise totally white/grey/black page makes people see mostly the splash of color), but on the other hand, it’s really the only color on the page, which perhaps makes it too much. Some other colors, or perhaps less white, might help offset the pink.
I think the pink works for the title, and maybe a few other spots, is good but it’s too much for the links. Also, note that the shade of pink used in your title “Advice 4 Brides” is different (better/darker), or at least it appears different to me – darker than your link color.
But, the main reason I wanted to comment about your site – you did one really great thing! You put right at the top of the page, below your title what the page is about in a single simple statement. Then, just to the right is a more complete explanation. I can’t count the number of times I go to a web site and can’t tell what the site is about. It’s my biggest peeve with web site development.
Finally, on the “Contact us” page, perhaps add a few lines about who/where you are. Sometimes people go to the Contact Us link to see where you are, or to get further information about who you are. Or (since your site isn’t really location bound), at least say what kind of response people are likely get (why would people want to contact you).
Just some thoughts. The site is simple, which in my opinion is always a good way to start.
