Hi,
I would just say that the text on your site isnt too easy to read, could do with a change of font and size. Also it does look quite bland, but would take much time to spice up.

Unlike those above me, I think the site is fine. Blogs are meant to be plain. its part of their "feel". You should be able to tell a blog apart from another website at a glance. At the end of the day, when ti comes to blogs content is much more important than looks.
