a basic site, but a good attempt if you're new. I'd suggest making the link buttons part of the larger images. write "home" "links" etc at the bottom of the big images using paint software and then when your mouse goes over the image make it change to another pic like you do with the colour of your buttons.

Also, is grey the best color to use?

I think its alright for the subject that it covers.
I agree with the above poster on making the images part of the links. I can nearly guarantee everyone who goes to the site tries to click on the pics before they try the links below them.
Also, the cyan rollover on the links doesnt look like the best colour to use.
That's just my feedabck.

Well, one other thing I woudl like for this site is for the text to have a margin around it--not go all the way to the edge of the page (or preferably line up in a paragraph with margins that fit under your image. Unfortnately, all my coding skill are stuck back in 1996 HTML, so I don't know how to show you how to do that with the code you are using.

Looks old and out of fashion.. Using Combinations of colours like white and grey and using more "glossy" flash buttons would improve its look. But for an informative site on its own, it looks fine and neat.

Like taecross and Wolfspirit mentioned it's appropriate for your target market, so you wouldn't want to spice it up too much and loose your audience. One way in which you could improve the page might be to add some links on your 'daily line-haul' and 'door-to-door service' which when clicked brought up some bigger pictures of intermodal containers (being) delievered at end user sites/locations. Perhaps thes pics could feature some of your regular/larger cutomers, in a way that lends to customer confidence and satisfaction(maybe one government and one commercial customer photo).

I like it, the top seems like it needs a little something more.

The buttons are a bit off color.

The tables seem a bit off and is that background pink?

Overall it looks fine, Think the basic look is much better an many cases.

Well, you should put in a little more effects, like others have suggested, putting the link in the picture.
It's plain, but you get down to the point, which is good.
