The whitebackground makes the site look very plain and the affilate links jump out right at me. That is my first impression used to looking at sites with adsense so that was a little bit different.

is the banner because it dont stand out, and
its very plain, other than that i love free

wow nice layout. only thing that bugs me is the difference in the hyperlinks on the sides. maybe get some css going and make them all uniform?
