Hi,

I’m new in this forum and this is my first post.

While surfing I came across a discussion where some say Facebook is not profitable yet. How this can happen? According to them it sells stock to cover expenses. What do you think? Any idea?

Look at the traffic and popularity, it can easily earn good advertising income to cover the cost. I also doubt it is still in the red. If that is really the case, there must be something wrong with Facebook's management team.

Facebook generates ads that use profile information to display directed content. Another less desirable method would be charging users to use certain services.
