Default Grinsbee Review

Hello everyone. Grinsbee.com is the official website for Troy S. Carlson's new novel. The websites design is simple, colorful, and it has room to add new features such as links or even advertising. Feedback on the design is greatly appreciated!

The site: Grinsbee.com

Looks a lot nicer in IE then Firefox. The CSS doesnt render properly in FF and makes the site look really sloppy.

Thank you Definitive, you taught me something about web browsing that I did not know. I'll be the first to admit that I am a novice; I picked up html by studying various sources and articles. I believe that I have fixed the problem.

The logo and text look a bit too 90's to me.

Ha, Ha, thanks for your opinion IC_IC. I was more afraid of a 60's or 70's jab! I'm getting so old...

Anyway, I'm not sure of the sources you reference and I'm not exactly sure what style that is to be mimicked for todays standards, but doesn't conformity produce a monotomous glum? I thought the attitude of the free mind was "anything goes" as long as it looks tasteful or consistent. If it's a small and corporate look that you desire, sorry, I disagree. It's far too 80's for me!

Your response is noted. It's your opinion based on your visual experiences and how you feel about them. I respect you, but I feel that more of a follow up is needed to be of any value. Otherwise, it could appear as a brutal response embedded in spite or, perhaps, another thought contrary to your true intent. I'm a lighthearted individual so I will take it as a positive contribution on your behalf to help.

Cheers!
