Please review my idea!

Hello, this is my first time on the site, still new. So if i posted it in the wrong section, please tell me or move it.

Ok, so I haven't finished my website for anyone to review the actual site, but i don't want to get too deep into the creation just to have to redo the site. Please if you don't mind just reviewing my idea:

I am building a site to teach languages to people around the world. However, the problem i am coming to is I have large files... audio, video, images. My site is pretty much nothing but those, along with some javascript tests and quizes. So for load time I want to make my website as fast it can possibly be, no matter what country the user is in. So I am thinking to seperate the site into different hosts for different countries, using w3.domain.de and w3.domain.co.th etc. etc. (w3 = www - just wanted to break the links.)

This would be fine normally, but it gets deeper. I personally left the United States for Germany 3 years ago, then moved to Thailand 3 months ago. If I was using my own site to learn German while I was in Germany or Thai while I am in Thailand, I would want it in English, and I would want it to still be fast. For this to happen I would have to have a website on every server with every language for each server. Which would make duplicate websites all over the internet... en.domain.com en.domain.de en.domain.co.th en.domain.ja ... all those would be the exact same English website, just on different servers in different countries. I am very very confused as to what I should do since someone told me that duplicating material across many websites is frowned upon.

I am using my limited knowledge of how things work to pre-design this in my head, and this is what I have come up with so far. I would be very grateful for any other options... I still would like my website to be indexed well by search engines.

So to sum it all up, I am looking for a way to have a multilingual site fast in every language for every country, which means no matter where a person is, they can see the site at top speed in their language.

I don't think it is viable as it would cost you quite a lot of money just for the hosting as well as the domain names.

Why don't you just get a host in the US with good/acceptable connections to all over the world? This will be more viable as the cost will not be that high.
