Show Upload Speed

Hey guys,

Ive created a simple file upload script, only uploads one file at a time, 5mb file size limit.
Is there anyway I can show upload details such as speed, % done, KB's done as its uploading?

This may be done in javascript or something, but I dont know how to do it.

Please post if you can help.

Not sure what type of development environment you have but Joshua Eichorn the creator of HTML_AJAX pear extension has done this. Maybe this link will help.
