You cannot change your ip address but you can use proxy.

Depending on your isp you may well be able to change it. If youre currently given a static ip you can unplug your modem (sometimes takes 8 days) to be given a new IP.
If you have a router you could try changing the mac addy and it should work...

Its early.. hopefully on point with this one.

As for proxies, yes, you can use one if its to surf a board. Some dont allow replies and joining through them, some do. On bigger boards theyve usually been banned already since the 'trouble makers' use them

:d yeah you can disconnect your dialup modem and reconnect.But most of the time websites will get same ip address because most of the ispz use (proxies)

if you have dynamic ip adress you can try to disconnect and reconnect again, try this a few times and your ip adress will change

I actually had that same problem a few years ago. I was running a server locally on my PC for a small project a friend of mine was leading when we started to get massive Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.

I called Comcast and they said it would take 11 days for the DNS flush to clear and to get a new IP address. In that time I would have to completely disconnect my computer from the internet to stop the renewal of my IP.


Well we obviously couldn't do that, so using my routers software I "Spoofed" the MAC address to get a new IP.
