Default How do I create a secure page?

Hey,

I am creating a site that will (when launched) need to have a simple log in facility for members. This will include new users submitting their email address and a user name that they can choose. How can I ensure that this data will be sent securly?

Thanx,

Hi Drew, depending on what youre planning to do with your site (ive checked it out) you might want to consider running a forum. Phpbb offers a great FREE forum package, which will act as your secure area, you can port the login to a external PHP page if you need to.
Also using a forum is great for keeping some stats and using it as a platform to answer questions. You can make it private from guests or open for new users.
The options are endless.

I can build you a members area:

register page
lost password page
login page
update info page
member pages

You can have a members area but you will need php/mysql for this..not only php/mysql but manny other languages that can connect to a database...
