http remote uploads to ftp server

i recently encountered a problem trying to download files from http links to my ftp server. i looked all over the forums but could not find any services. but google spitted out this one Direct Server to Server File Transfer. We save your time and traffic. Well, it really does help to upload http links to an ftp server. just in case you also face this problem.
