Default Web Hosting Billing and Support

What kind of software do you use to do your billing and support for your Web Hosting Company? Is there any freeware stuff that does a good job at this? I did write a basic billing system myself in PHP but my company is quickly growing out of it.

I need something that keeps track of all aspects of hosting domain including domain names renewal dates etc.

For free ware, try searching hotscripts.com. But I would not recommend it, becuase billing on your host is EXTREMELY important. Its much better to invest the money if you can.

WHMAuto Pilot is the most popular. I used it on my old webhost and it was fabulous. It has all kinds of great features, including an affiliate program, etc. Yes, it keeps track of domains and it even sets up the sites for you automatically.

For support, you can try a helpdesk and a live support system.

As magician_678 mentioned, your billing/support is too crucial not to invest some $$$ to it. I would definately recommend reading/researching some of the solutions and go from there.

I'm not sure of what you mean. Are you talking about something that keeps up with your consumers are doing? Or are you looking for something that will keep track of your own expenses and assets?

hire more people if your company is growing.A machine cannot handle all your billing. There is a limitation for it.I think you better start spending some dollar for your growing company.
