Who here hosts?

Just out of curiosity I'm wondering how many of us out there are actually hsots of any kind?

I've had 2 hosting "companies" (Bit of a joke really, they weren't really companies but it put a few quid in the back pocket) and am now settling down with a dedicated machine to host friends and friends of friends to tide myself over.

Having had good, and bad, experiences I think that these days things are a little too competative - theres nothing you can offer other than great level of service to establish yourself from the rest. I may be wrong, perhaps many of you are successful hosts, but personally I could never get past 3 servers worth of customers before things started to get a little more troublesome than I could manage.

Any thoughts?

Maybe what you need are just a few more people to help you out.
3 Server loads of people can bring in quite a good income if used properly.

I am a host myself, I run a pretty successful company currently. It's still in the small phase of things but I am looking to grow it into something beautiful.
