How do you fight spam?

Both incoming and outgoing how do you combat it?
I don't really like filters so I would just hit the delete button

I don't really bother. Just press the delete button and no point going to get the spammer because half the time they used exploited servers and the server admin is almost useless in solving these problems as they can't trace the source themselves either.

Maybe what we really need is a joined effort between givernments to combat this and not paying millions and millions to find a solution ourselves.
Its an international threay but we are fighting it at a local and regional level.... Its like terrorism!!! Osmi Bin Spammy!!

I fight with it with gmail
I don't know but Gmail has very good spam system so every spam mail just goes to it's folder!

I forwarded the addresses of my domain name to gmail...plus now you can use the @mydomain.com to send emails from inside gmail..i think it is cool...

I don't really trust spam filters because some times the good mails get filtered as well.
The best is to formula your own using Outlook express and constantly verify what is being deleted, just in case your boss sent you something

If they openly announce that they are a spammer on the streets, I wonder how many people will gang up and have a bash'em up session
