I am thinking about switching host. Has anyone here ever used 1&1 hosting. I was wondering if they are reliable or not. tia

Well.. there are so many hosting companies nowadays that it really difficult to keep up.
One person says its good, the other may say that it sucks... so its spersonal view anyway.

The best thing is to keep your web host and your domain host separate and keep backups of your sites, just in case.

1and1 have a bad support reputation - they are badly reviewed by many sites.

We are offering trial of our shared hosting for free. Why don't you first try the services and then decided if you want to buy or not.

I havent heard much good about this program. My friend used it, and left after a few months. They werent pleased at all. I use host gator, great support and great plans.

I would recommend you look for Money Back hosts, those one's normally service is great. It normally shows that they have nothing to hide, 1and1 ive heard good things. But never used before.

I don't recommend 1and1 .. I heart mostly negative reviews and comments about them, their support is unreliable, their prices are ok but you get what you pay for =\
