Default Reasonable reponse time from host

Hello All,

I am trying a new web host. This is my second week with them. I have no complaints other then I sent them a email question about my domains email account 2 days ago and re-sent again this morning. They do not have a phone number listed on there site. I think 3 days is okay but by now I deserve a response of sometype.

I understand that the whois information is suppose to be private but if they do not reply by Monday I may call the phone number on the whois information. Do you think this is wrong to do?

cheers

I think one day is long enough to not have recieved a response... One week is definitely way too long!

Yeah, I guess I should not feel bad about lifting the phone number off the whois data. After all they seem to be avoiding my emails.

24 hours is a reasonable response time. I'd stretch for 72 hours, but that's all.

I would expect nothing longer than 24 hours. To be honest, anything more is really just a lack of quality customer service.

Yeah - I am in agreement with what the other members have said.
24-48 hours is reasonable more then that is disrespect to you the paying customer.

I agree, 24 hours, but sometimes it can be very busy so stretching to 72 hours could be reasonable, but after that... find another host
