I've got a friend who wants to make four mp3 files available for others to download. He just needs the files available for a few weeks, maybe a month or two, and he was wondering if there's a cheaper way to get some webspace instead of getting a 6-month subscription. Unfortunately he doesn't get free space with his ISP.

I've seen a few free web hosts, but rather than providing direct links to the files, they take you to a splash page before the file downloads.

It doesn't necessarily have to be free, but I just wondered if anyone might have any better suggestions?
