I'm looking for a free blog host that allows mature content (think rotten.com) but everything I find is basically only for family-friendly content. Anyone know any good ones I could try?

Besides, are your content legal?

Well, I want to be able to post R-rated and X-rated stuff if I want to (sex, nudity, violence) without having to worry about getting it hauled from the net. Legal material, of course, but for a mature audience. The kinds of things you would see on rotten.com, ebaumsworld, somethingawful, etc. Is this the kind of thing only a paid host could provide?

Some free host can host it if it's legal.
You'll just have to ask.

some host may allow you to host blog with rated content but you need to make sure that content is legal. you may ask helpdesk of the free host to confirm that they will allow your content. I may refer you two free host site: awardspace.com and 9sm.info ... I tried awardspace by myself ... it's great ... please check by yourself...

I think you'll be looking for a paid host for something like that, not many hosts allow that for free.
