JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Webmaster
REPORTS TO: Information Systems Manager
DEPARTMENT: Administrative Support
Summary Description:
Creates and maintains the Ohio KePRO web site and Intranet and all related technologies. Provides project management to ensure the quality and accuracy of the web site and Intranet. Maintains the web site and Intranet with current and relevant content to ensure that they act as a tool that supports project team efforts.
Accountabilities:
· Develops and maintains all web sites utilized by Ohio KePRO incorporating graphic user interfaces where appropriate. Provides support for corporate websites as requested.
· Provides strategic vision for all web related activities.
· Develops and implements interactive upgrades.
· Monitors web site traffic and creates reports based on this information.
· Creates and maintains the intranet for sharing of information.
· Formulates strategies and plans to enhance the web site and Intranet along with maintaining cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
· Creates interactive web pages utilizing ASP pages that interact with MS Access, MySQL and other databases.
· Creates and maintains databases that are used on the web site by utilizing Microsoft Access, MySQL and other.
· Works with project teams to customize web pages and to accomplish project goals. Utilizing project management and communications skill sets.
· Insures the company’s web site is Bobby approved, 508 compliant and meets all contractual requirements set forth by CMS.
· Designs, creates and provides a company Intranet that can be used to increase efficiency and provide a useful tool for end users.
· Proactive in web security following regulations and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications:
Education(General level if required or specific courses) Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline required; or the equivalent combination in education and experience.
Skills, KnowledgeAbilities (SKA) Must be trained in the principles, practices and techniques used in web site design; proficient in HTML, JavaScript. Emphasis will be placed on writing/designing ASP pages. Previous experience designing/implementing Intranet sites preferred. Experience with Microsoft Access, and MySQL required. Webmaster certification and .Net experience preferred. Experience with a graphical package such as Quark and/or Photoshop preferred. Must have good communication skills, be creative and have the ability to work on large projects within tight time frames.
Experience (If needed, describe kind and amount) Three to four years of progressive experience designing and maintaining web sites. Minimum of three years working in a web environment or on designing a web site is desirable. Minimum of three years working in an IT environment.
