A post on Blogspot is usually indexed within minutes. But that is only if the blog is older then a few weeks. Once the blog is a few weeks old, it will be indexed within a matter of minutes.

One of my blogspot blogs, I can make a post and its listed in googles index within 5 minutes.

If your serious about your site, then I suggest you host your own wordpress blog.

Blogger is good. Wordpress is not easy to handle.

I use Blogger mostly than WordPress, because they're easy and reliable. However, WordPress has more templates than Blogger.

blogspot has one clear advantage over other blog hosts

since blogspot is of google therefore blogspot blogs are indexed automatically by google
