When I first set up a new PC I always put a few things on it immediately. here is what they are...
1) F-Secure Antivirus & Firewall 6.0.3 Build 12411
2) SpywareBlaster
3) Diskeeper
4) Speed Startup
Then I immediately grab every Windows update out there. After that I feel safe enough to tackle the internet full-force.
