Default Shopping Carts

What is the best shopping cart program on the market for small business?

I have been looking at 3dcart.com and cart32.com

Before I buy though I want to know the best direction to turn.

I'd put MIVA Merchant on your short list of shopping cart vendors.

Hi Revvv,

Did you check out a few of the open source shopping carts? Ones like osCommerce, Zen-Cart, OpenCart, etc.

You might want to check them out, before you commit to buying another.

I quite like Zen-Cart myself.

Small business means you can't / don't want to regularly pay to a programmer to customize the cart, right? Open Source is no way then. It's made by programmers for programmers. For example, ZenCart's backend is just a maze IMHO... I can say that because I worked with Avactis shopping cart and really enjoyed it. It's usable, and easily skinnable. Lots of payment options, too. Take a look yourself.
Though your avatar tells that you like to hurt yourself... so maybe ZenCart is right for you LOL
