Question FTP and Dreamweaver

We are in the process of redoing some webpages,

We typically edit the pages using Dreamweaver, which is nice and easy. However, we were using an FTP program that for some reason was adding extra blank lines.

We really cannot have this happen because then when we try to make site wide changes the extra blank lines cause a problem.

Since dicovering this, we are now using a different FTP program that does not do this. However, now we are left with many pages that have these extra blank lines.

Is there a way, using dreamweaver, or even a different program, to remove these blank lines, without having to go in a delete them one by one.

So we can re upload to the site?????

THANKS!

Dreamweaver itself has a built in FTP, which is better than using another ftp program separately.

I didn't quite understand what you mean about blank lines, is it in the code or the design? What ftp program are using currently using?.

Our tech uses a program to make site wide changes. And since the FTP program inserted all these extra lines in the html code, the program he has wont work correctly.

Here is an example:

<!-CONTENT STARTS HERE--!>

<tr><td width="35" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> content

<!- content ends here-!>

</td>

</tr>

See how there is all that blank space, we could go into every single page and delete them one by one, but that would take a very very long time.

We are no longer having that problem, as I said we switch FTP programs, so bascially I am trying to see if there is a short cut.
