Default FTP program that allows you to edit the files on-site

I am looking for FTP program that allows me to edit the files directly on-site on server.

It's impossible, the concept of FTP (file transfer protocol) is to upload and download files from a remote server. You can't work on a remote server using ftp. try to use http (something like RADMIN) or samba if it's available/
