I know that Frontpage is a bad editor. but does anyone still use it?

It adds horrible code to your pages, which turned me off using it years ago.
Im just wondering if Frontpage is still in use by some people.

No, I am really cheap to be honest.

I try to use as much free software as possable. I use the new HTML editer in my CPanel. Works just as well if not better. I normaly like doing just raw coding, but if i need something fast i use that.

BMFX... you couldnt have said that any better, i love freeware and i do take advantage of it, but about the frontpage thing, i beleive frontpage is more for begginers, i started with frontpage and moved up to dreamweaver, now im doing pretty nice with my sites. It all basically about your personal prefrence, weather you like it or not, its your choice

I just stoped using FP for a free builder because FP sucks, everytime i finish a page a saveit, it doesnt save correctly and ends up all messed up were i have to fix every page.

Yes i agree frontpage is for beginners im started to use it now.Ive got professor teaches microsoft office on iso, which has good tutorials

The best way to learn HTML is google "Hello World HTML" and open up notepad

I was using front page years ago... then I decided to just create the html myself... which was time consuming. After that I took a dreamweaver class... and im sticking with dreamweaver since then. I would recommend dreamweaver to you, its great to use once you get hang of it, and you can get some good video or book tutorials from lynda.com. I used the book, and then looked at the Video tutorials. The video tutorials are great from beginners of dreamweaver.

the newer versions of FP work fine with almost all types of code in them. Still in my opinion it doesnt compare to dreamweaver, but for the novice user its excellent.

Still even advanced coders of html, css, JS, etc etc can use it with good results.
