Well I posted on 1-03 that I was going to start using Fireworks more...and well I flippin' love it! I haven't learned everything about FW (which I don't know if that is even possible) but its pretty easy to use once you stop trying to use it like Photoshop. I had that same problem when I worked with PS then tried using Illustrator like PS...was a little frustrating at first.
But FW is definately where its at. You can easily edit something in DW by just selecting and image or a table and clicking EDIT. FW launches, make your changes, and magically DW updates. There are a lot of other great features too like finding a replacing colors in FW that PS doesn't have. PS isn't really designed for true Web work and FW is...so once you get used to it, as I have, FW cuts down on time, which is always a good thing.
