Angry Works fine in Firefox...DISASTROUS in IE!

I just finished building a website (html & CSS) and stupidly only ever opened it in Firefox. So when I open it up in IE everything from font (not to bad) to spacing and alignment (disastrous) goes nuts. What would be the easiest way to fix it so it will work in IE?

The solution not depends completely to us.Depends to the Firefox Team and the standards
But you must start a design first i IE. The majority of the computers use them.

Hey, One question i would like to ask. Have you designed any site using css, xhtml. There is a difference between html n xhtml. First learn the rules specified for both. Use css perfectly. I can tel confidently that your designs wont break at all in any of the major browsers like IE all versions, Firefox, Opera. You can check this site in any of the browsers. Vaysinfotech.com. Click the link here. Vays Infotech-IT Infrastructure, Networking Service provider in bangalore

Keep in mind that every time you hand code a page or a template, try any change in both IE6 and FF. That's also the right way to learn.

I dunno how true that is re: the majority of users use IE

well if you're talking about the "unwashed masses" perhaps

I don't know anybody who is willing to put up with IE crashes when firefox is an alternative

He did not mention any specific version of IE, and as such it will be hard to assist him, without testing in each and every version.

But since he specifically mentioned alignment, i can say that its likely IE6 or ealier, and as such not worth our time.

Web designers should be ditching support for older browsers, and telling their users to either shift or upgrade. See also Ditch Support for Older Browsers

I learned that you can do some IE css hacks to work around what is breaking. I usually Google this to find specific fixes. Though I am not a great coder rather a designer. Good luck~
