Web graphics designer earnings in the USA

Anybody know what the average salary for a graphics web desinger earns in the USA. Mostly someone with expert skills in Adobe products and a few others.

1k - 2k depends on the company or the the project.

I would guess an annual salary of $25k - $50K maybe more with the right company.

Generally, graphic designers earch somewhere between, 25,000 and 50,000 dollars on an anual salary, as noted above. I did a bit of research on this a while back, and if I recall correctly the average, yearly salary for most graphic designers was 41,000 dollars a few years back.

The thing is, it really depends. If you're just a wannabe then chances are you won't even get hired, but if you're good - no, not good, exceptional - then you'll rack in the money pretty quickly. I guess (note - its a guess) that if you have true talent you'll be making between780,000 and 120,000 dollars a year. And if you ask me, that's a pretty decent income.

How many projects of what level would make you 50 grand? That is a career path I would love to consider.

It depends on if you're freelance or not. If you are freelance, you choose how much you charge, and that depends on your skill and who you're working with.

But if you work for a company, probably around $50,000.

the difference is with freelancing and working in a company is your the boss..hehehe

Meaning you have all those headaches as well.
But at least at a company they would pay you even if there is no jobs coming in.
But if you freelance, and tehre is no work it means you literally "eat air"

DO you guys mean like a real life career? If you actually do that as I living, you actually go to this REAL BUILDING of graphic design? Cause my friend's 26 year old sister does graphic design at home and makes a bout $1,000 a month.
