I for one agree with AlexF. hand coded sites rule
But anyway, if everyone is using a CMS or portal then in the end everyone is similiar... Only those hand coded are unique and in my personal view more valuable because more effort was placed in it.

Simple Web Content Management System is a very basic one too that is pretty cool and easy to install.

I have recently started to use Xoops. I love the simplicity of the software. it is much easier than coding by hand thats for sure.
