Faded borders - photoshop

Hi,

What is the best method in photoshop to make pictures have a faded or feathered border to blend with page background?

What I do is choose layerstyle: inner glow, change color to the "fade border" color you want, and change the size an that's it.

I'd set the erase tool on the opacity 30% or lower to make it look faded

You can just go into Photoshop, select the image you want, and change the opacity to around 60 %, though it might actually fade the image so that you can see the background ontop of it, if you know what i mean.

Maybe you should try www.pixel2life.com and see the tutorials they currently have, they got heaps, just type feather in the search engine and see what comes up.
