Hello,

I am doing a web site for a company and require a bit of help. I've never got an off-the-shelf cart/ecommerce package before and needed some advice.

My client wants to be able to add items for sale and the client pays online for them, I guess using something like Protx.

I've seen many such packages like CubeCart, Avactis, Miva, Actinic, ZenCart.

The company is moving from an eBay shop and generally sell things like furniture accessories, bedding and kitchen wear.
They only ship in the UK.
Item prices range from as low as £1.99 to as high as £200.

I have good experience with PHP and some in ASP.
I will be building the CSS/XHTML template to be used.

What would be the best solution for me?
I know it's a tricky question to answer, but any advice would be very much welcome.

Well i mean depending on what you need as in features i have a great shoping system called VirtueMart this does run with joomla but its quick and easy to install maintain and is very user friendly also templates can be downloaded or self created and i do have other E-Commerce http://www.internetconquorer.com/ind...=38&I temid=1

there are a lot of scripts that do a much more basic system but they are all good

p.s. sorry about the typing i have my baby on my lap lol!
