I just read that Google is working on a mobile phone as it looks to extend internet advertising to handheld devices.

It seems to be going in the mass market device direction aimed at bringing Google to users who don't have a PC.

Yes this whole voice activation/ directory assistance thing is getting big. Even Microsoft is on the ball early by acquiring TellMe a couple of weeks ago.
