I have two websites. Content is related but not duplicated.
If I cross link these two sites back and fourth is there a possibility that either will be penalized for cross linking?

As I understand it, the key word regarding cross linking is "excessive" cross linking. But what would the engines considere "excessive".

The Larger the cycle the better but i dont think you will be penilized for one link just be careful
