I have SEOquake plugin installed in my gchrome browser. Please tell me how to set it so that it identifies Dofollow blog and forum sites.

Is there another efficient way to confirm Dofollow sites?

There is option called Strike through "nofollow" and "noindex".You can check that option it will allow you to identify which links are dofollow and which are not.
