So I've decided to giveaway stuff to attract more visitors. Unfortunately, I haven't been getting that much traffic and only 15 people have signed up. How should I promote my giveaway? Has anyone done something similar?

If your talking about

Enter our Labor Day Giveaway! Click here for a chance to win
$100 off your next hotel booking.

It's offset to the RHS of the site and in blue. I would move this to a more predominant position e.g. above the photo and make it red so that the eye is drawn to it.

If you have reasonable traffic per day e.g. over 100 then try one week with it in my position (and color) and one day in your old position and see what the statistics tell you.

Sometimes web marketing is a little of trial and error (i've definitely found out this the hard way myself, at times)

you really should hold off on offering freebies until you have more traiifc. or use the freebie to help make an advertising campaign more effective. try google adwords.

You should also add, a reffer a friend option. Most people that sign up for give aways would also like to email there friends. Being able to send it from your website would probably bring in more visitors... just a thought.
