Default Links and Search Engine Optimisation

There is an ugly rumour on the Internet; itís permeating the chat rooms; itís tainting many-a-tweet; itís clogging blogs wherever you look Ė itísÖ itís saying that link building is not all that itís stacked up to be. The tweets are tweeting that fresh copy, sweetened with keywords, is a much more effective Search Engine Optimisation tool than uncontrolled, uncensored, low-quality, unfettered link building!
Of course, itís a hoax but there is a germ of truth. Every organisation is looking to the Internet to raise its market profile and to increase sales. Search engine optimisation is not simply about choosing the right key words it also includes judicious link building. A well-thought-out strategy of link building is not a case of ďIíll put your link on mine if you put my link on yoursĒ. Effective online marketing requires discerning link building, connecting your website with websites that genuinely complement your product or service.
Some companies whilst formulating their SEO strategy pay fees to online directories to help build up their inbound links, but search engines do not consider links that are paid for in the same light as those that are sited on a quality website that offers a reciprocal link.
In truth, most organisations when looking at their SEO strategy, and factoring in link building, are very keen to establish inbound links but less keen to feature outbound links. After all, once a potential customer lands on your website, do you really want the person to be lured away by an outbound link before buying your goods? The answer is to build up a network of inbound and outbound links that do not compete with your service or products. For example, a good link with regard to search engine optimisation would be for a motorcycle accessories company to have inbound and outbound links with a company that sells motorcycles.
Careful, quality link building has to be part of a good SEO strategy.

Erm this is copied and pasted over the whole of the internet.

Quick google search of the first line of this post shows loads and loads of results for this same article why do people bother doing this, its so annoying.

you know - I just came from another post that was copied as well. This is really getting tiresome.

They are spreading their backlinks on SEO forums - this is getting out of hand...

Maybe because that is their so called way of SEO. They think that it would help alot on their rankings just by posting copied articles in forum sites.

I agree with bigcat1967, johneva, people are spamming forums and even blogs because that is their own way of building backlinks. They believe that doing this will help their marketing efforts, not minding the fact that this will hurt them in the long run, when they will be banned.

I think there is nothing bad with getting your links out there, as long as your posts and comments are relevant to the topic and have not been duplicated word for word from any place in the web.

What really gets me is in some forums I see the exact thread posted by the same person in multiple subforums. I understand link building is tough but geez!

That is exactly what I have noticed as well, devTastic. And, yes, while honest-to-goodness, manual link building is really tough and it takes months before we can see significant results, if we stay at it and exercise patience, the success that we get in the end is more than worth it. If only they will think of it this way, instead of opting for the easiest way to get results.

In SEO, Quality backlinks took major part in all off page optimization strategies i.e, link building. Whatever submission we do to promote a particular website, we are targetting mostly to gain quality backlinks and huge traffic as well

SEO Relations increases your link popularity (PR) by building linking relationships with well- respected web sites in your industry. The more relationships we build for you, the more competitive your site will be.

As I know that SEO techniques have 2 parts, that are:
1. On page SEO
2. Off page SEO

On-Page Search Engine Optimization
1. Page Titles
2. Meta Descriptions
3. Meta Tags
4. URL Structure
5. Body Tags (H1, H2, H3, H4, etc.)
6. Keyword Density
7. Image SEO
8. Internal Linking

I hope this helps.
