Hi Folks,
This is a lovely website with some exciting members.
I need help with my page rank question. My website's main page

http://www.searchadegree.com

has a page rank of 2 on google pagerank. but when I check another page, which is a simple "About Us" page.

http://www.searchadegree.com/us.php

it suddenly has a page rank of 3. My question is how do I find out that why this us.php has a pagerank of 3 when this page was never submitted to any searchengine or Link exchange.

Ideally my main index page should have a pagerank of 3 instead of this About us page.

Pagerank is a load of crap. My main index page o findpeopleuk.co.uk has a pr2 but my linsk pages has a pr5!

it doesn't matter though coz the site's still not in google!

It all depends, the pagerank in google toolbar is not always accurate. It's an integer based on google's inner rankings, you know, the ones that count.

I'm guessing it has to do with the keyword content on your us page, and the keywords you are targeting on your main page. The keywords on your US page ranked well for what ever reason on their rankings in google.
