Google seems to be unpredictabel

Ive been doing great from some of my targeted KW

But google seems to dislike my optimization coz im now in the 8th page for my targeted KW

We can make this thread as a form of guidelines to what do's and donts after the update

What does it take to make it good in google.. so pls share some thoughts here

there's no forumula - if there was google would have lots of commercial sites in the top 10 rather than sites with the best information for the searcher.

I have been told that Google only counts the first 58 Characters in the meta tags.

Also make sure you haven't been blacklisted by Google.

yeah, there is a limit to what google coutns for the tags. the best thing to remember is repeat no keyword in a row more than 3 times and don't have a keyword in a single block of txt more than 7 times max!

How do you check if your site is black listed on google?

How does one get blacklisted by google? is it because they find you using illegal methods of getting optimised? I would have thought they throw your listing out all together if they black list you.

if it is blacklisted the pagerank meter will be gray.
My advice dont waste a lot of time about google, optimize your site by all means, BUT for google the magic is backlinks, submit to as many directories (relevant to your site) exchange links, RELEVANT to your site, and in the future you should see improvement!

of course the best really is not to exchange links, but to have a lot of content and submit articles with bio back to your site, like this you get a link to your site with out having to put one to them, this is really the all secret.

To get high SERP, use targeted keywords in your content. Even you can Exchange links with high pagerank websites that will boost your pagerank. Keep building your site, Add more content, more pages this will help you to increase the page rank of your site.
