Google's best because it has the most, and best search results. It also has a wider range of pictures. Simply put: you can find anything on google. I wish google would start a messenger service and I would never have to leave.

In any case, I like Google better too. Their functions seem to be more up to date and accurate, plus their pages aren't swarming with useless junk like Yahoo, MSN, AOL etc. Nobody wants news on a search page if you're searching for free hosting

Is the Google Talk thing a new service because this is the first time I am hearing about it... Could it be a plot to over run Microsoft?

I don't understand what you mean about placeholder. Is that when there's a random underlined word on the sites that are links - although they were/are not meant to be links?

Whenever I try and optimize my website to be search engine friendly, I try to optimize for Google, but all my traffic seems to come from MSN and Yahoo. Google is a good search engine, all-in-all.

Yeah, GoogleTalk, it is advertised on gmail. Google is obviously the best. The majority of Internet searchers use it, and it has the best results. I don't even know how Yahoo and MSN exist, they suck. AskJeeves has a loveable mascot though.
