Default Advertising Budget

I currently run a small website that is just startinng out (I've had it for a while, but just recently redesigned it and I am focusing on it more). I was wondering what everyone thought a good beginner budget with minimal out of pcoket expenses. currently I am paying about $2 a day to yahoo for ads and I am recieving about $.50 a day from google for ads. I don't mind so much now because I got $50 free yahoo advertising through my hosting service.

so let me know what you out there think

I don't know how yahoo ad works. Since if your yahoo ad works (generate traffic), then I think you should also try Google Adword... You can set your daily budget (e.g $2 a day) for the whole ad campaign, and for each keyword / keyword set, you can define how much you are willing to pay for bidding a position on the search result page (right hand side). (e.g. $0.50). It has an initial setup fee (depends on country).

I have a small budget too and have been struggling with adwords. I guess you can't do too much if you're only willing to pay up to $.15 per click.

Right mate, you've got to drive quality traffic to your site, because clearly, all your traffic is coming from your ads - which meeans you'll be caught in the vicious trap of having to spend more to earn more. This is financial suicide!

I quite like the layout of the site, so well done, but the devil is in the detail, I'm afraid. Grammatically, some of the sentences are poor, but most importantly, the spelling is really dreadful. In these days of computer spellcheckers, there really is no excuse - especially when you're trying to make a good impression on your visitors.

Like I said, though, the layout is good, you just need to run a spellchecker over it, then it'll be great!

Anyone spot the deliberate mistake with 'meeans'?

(...Ok, no, I didn't use a spellchecker either...but this is just a post...mumble,mumble...) ;-)
