Re: SEO for Me...
The pay in the SEO market is what you make it, but your experience level, and your 'proof' can make a night and day difference. However, so can the market that you cater to, as with most web services.
For instance, a web designer who creates a simple, 1-page template for a government might receive $5,000 - $20,000 for that template, where a web designer with better skills might earn $1,000 for a 10-page website when he / she is performing services for an individual or small company. It's the same with SEO -- if you know how to find jobs, you dictate your pay -- you can earn $500/month or $20,000 per month. Granted, you'll probably need connections and references to make big dollars in the SEO industry, but unless you provide more specifics, it's impossible to even guess what you might earn if you're looking to get into SEO.
Actually -- I see the term 'salary'... which, I guess that means that you're looking for a proper job, then? If that's the case -- SEO gigs don't tend to pay a lot, $20,000 - $40,000 / annually US is what I've seen for situations where you're being employed by somebody else.
